Since 1908, the Nokomis Agricultural Society has been at the heart of our community — bringing people together to celebrate the best of rural life through our much-loved Annual Agricultural Fair.

From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: to promote agriculture and the rural way of life. And what better way to do that than by hosting a fair that brings our town — and the surrounding areas — together for a day filled with fun, friendly competition, and hometown pride?

Each year, the Nokomis Fair is a chance for neighbours, families, and friends to reconnect and enjoy entertainment, exhibits, and activities you won’t find just any day in Nokomis. Whether it’s cheering on a lawn tractor pull, strolling past prize-winning preserves, or admiring local livestock, there’s something for everyone.

And the best part? Everyone’s invited to participate — whether you’re entering your best baking, handmade crafts, or joining in the parade. Most entries are free or cost just a small fee, making it easy for everyone to get involved.

Thanks to fundraising efforts throughout the year and generous community support, the Nokomis Ag Society covers the costs so that Fair Day stays accessible and affordable for all. And yes — there are prizes! We love recognizing the incredible talent and creativity right here in our community.
