There was a time when supper showed up in the field.
The tailgate came down, everyone stopped for a few minutes, and a home-cooked meal was shared wherever the day’s work happened to take you.
We’re bringing a little bit of that feeling back.
Join the Nokomis Agricultural Society for our first-ever Supper in the Field at the Nokomis Ag Society grounds.
Bring your lawn chairs. Put down the end-gate. Gather your family, friends and neighbours, and settle in for an evening of great food, live music and good old-fashioned prairie visiting.
No rush. No fancy dress.
Just supper in the field. 
What’s for Supper?
We’re serving up the kind of meal that belongs at a prairie supper table:
Ham • Baked Potato • Corn on the Cob • Coleslaw • Dessert • Pop or Water
$25 per plate; $15 per plate 6 to 14 years
A cash bar and 50/50 tickets will also be available.

We know what this time of year can be like.
If the crop is ready and you’re in the combine, truck or tractor, you don’t have to miss out.
Take-out plates are available!
